CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Alliance Executives’ Winter Conference
February 11-13, 2020, Hyatt Regency Hotel Monterey

The California Alliance of Child & Family Services is seeking 1- and 2-hour workshop and plenary proposals for our Executives’ Winter Conference on Feb. 12-13, 2020 and pre-conference training (Executive Management/Group Home Administrator Training) on Feb. 11, 2020.

Workshops provide an excellent opportunity for our members to learn from your experience and expertise in areas of interest or concern to Alliance member agency executives. Submission categories include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Continuum of Care Reform
  • Behavioral Health
  • Juvenile Justice
  • Foster Family-based Care and Treatment
  • TAY Services
  • Trauma-Informed Care
  • Adoption
  • Wraparound Services and Support
  • Innovation, Practices and Programs
  • Data & Outcomes
  • Substance Abuse
  • Empowering Youth & Families
  • Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Youth
  • Education
  • Crisis Response
  • Transformative Collaborations
  • Staff, Management & Leadership
  • Finance, Accounting & Contracting
  • LGBTQ Issues
  • Other

Proposals will be evaluated on:

  1. Importance of the issue to our members;
  2. Number of agencies affected by the issue;
  3. CEU availability; and
  4. Speaker’s experience.

Please go to this LINK for the document template to submit your proposal. If you submitted a proposal before, we have those on file and there’s no need to resubmit. However, you are welcome to submit additional proposals.
